Might be Losing my job this week

Hey all, another post from me asking for some advice
.
I started a job around 9 weeks ago, but it looks like it coming to an end. My team leader/performance manager came up to me and a colleague and told me everyone through the agency needs to give 110% this coming weekend, otherwise we are gone.
This is fair enough but the problem is, they provide little equipment for the job which slows us down. I work for a supply centre and when we have to bag something tiny in a huge bag, this slows us all down due to having to strap, wrap and anything else just to make the order secure. The experienced workers there are as slow as us agency staff, but they aren't getting told the same thing.
So my question is, if i am laid off(which i presume i will be, there are hints towards it) can i claim jsa etc? i signed off as this is a full time-temporary contract job, but i would like to know my options if i am indeed laid off. I was enjoying the job but they are blaming us agency workers for their mistakes, they are also asking us to work 60 hours a week yet the full timers get reasonable hours. I guess in a way i hope i get laid off but at the same time i don't want to be signed on and claiming benefits, but it looks like i won't have a choice.
Sorry for the grammatical error's and general rambling but i just worked a 12 hour shift so i am a bit sleepy
. Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

You sound like you should be entitled to JSA. Sounds like they only want you for the Christmas rush anyway.
The agency you are with will probably be keen to get you another job, so ask them what happens when this one finishes whenever that may be?0 -

Thanks for the reply paddyrg. As far as i am aware this agency is an onsite agency and the only/main contract is with the company. They are a bit of a joke to be honest, like forcing you into overtime( putting you down for overtime with no consent, then moaning if you don't turn up).
If i can claim JSA then thats fine, i guess i'll be searching for jobs again:)0 -
When you go back in to sign, you just tell them it was 'seasonal temping work' (which is what it sounds like), and I can't see it being a problem - you worked, apid tax and NI, been let go and looking for work again - it's exactly what JSA is there for, to tide you over whilst you seek another job.0
