Opera won't open a particular site

Hi guys, just thought I'd give Opera a try but I'm having a problem. All sites open as normal except for one, and it's one I need for uni. It's one of those virtual learning platforms, eBridge. It opens in Firefox and IE just fine, but in Opera I get the message 'Connection closed by remote server'.

Anyone know what may be happening? I'm trying to access it from home.

Took a while to open but Opera listed it as a secure site so maybe check the internet options for secure site settings

eBridge has been tested and works with the following browsers: IE6, IE7, IE8 (with compatibility mode turned on) and Mozilla Firefox 3. There are at this stage some known issues with Safari and Chrome.

tbh, as much as i do love Opera 11 -- and i really do -- it does have an issue with some sites; so i just switch to ff or Chrome in that case.
