You can try posting first on freecycle or freegle, asking for a freezer. Sometimes you pick up things that way and the person will contact you instead of you looking for one and just missing out.
As far as I know, freegle was created out of the old freecycle sites. I got an email at the time but I can't remember the reasons why they split. I tend to use freegle, but there's no harm in using both.
I'm still too new to the site to be allowed to post links, so I'll just list what I do and you can google them. I use yougov for surveys and grassroots for mystery shopping.
With yougov, you get 50 point for each survey and once you get to 5000 points you get a cheque for £50 or it gets credited to your bank account.
With grassroots, it says how much you'll be paid for the mystery shop, usually £10-£12, and it's credited to your account. You have to be quick in responding to the emails for these though, as theyn get snapped up quick.
If you look at the top of the page, you'll see a tab that says "Income/Family". When you click on that, select "Boost your Income" and then you'll see a column in the middle of the page that includes a link to survey sites. I assume that's where most people on here get the survey links from. I should probably check it out and do a few more surveys myself! Perhaps some people on here can advise which are the best sites for quick cash.
I also play a free daily game on gameduell. You can play for money, but I wouldn't advise it! However, by playing the free daily game and building up your winnings over the course of a year, you can withdraw a handy little sum at the end of the year. I'm about to withdraw £60, which will come in handy. It'll effectively pay for my Christmas food shopping. Beware though, the site charges some of your winnings to withdraw (150 game points) and the money site they use to withdraw money then charges you a small fee per withdrawal. That's why I only withdraw once a year, as well as using it as a small savings account.
Hope some of these help, and maybe some of the survey sites will help you get some quick cash.0 -

No problem. I should've said that gameduell also allows you to play the games as free training games as well. I did that to put the practice in and have a better chance of winning the free daily game. And sometimes I played just to pass the time on a boring night in when I'd no money!
I just saw on another thread that your parents are aware of your financial situation. Any chance of them helping you out with a spreadsheet to help you sirt out your finances? It's not the same thing as bailing you out, instead it's helping you to take control.
Good luck with the survey sites.0 -
Spreadsheets terrify me!
I sat down with them yesterday and we drew out a budget for me with coloured pens, so now I feel a bit happier!0 -
I was actually going to suggest you set up the spreadsheet to colour each box so you could tell what was what, but I thought that sounded a bit patronising!
That's what I did with my spreadsheet though, so I could tell at a glance what things were. I grouped all similar spending, such as credit cards, together as well so the total amount was all in one place.
But it's whatever works for you though. If coloured pens are the thing that works, go for it! For me, having an app on my phone really helped as I had the phone with me all the time. I could look at it before spending and play around with the figures to show how much of a percentage I'd pay towards my debt. That stopped me spending on useless things.
Just go with whatever works for you. The important thing is that you're tackling your debt and your spending habits.0 -
Well, to top it all off, not only have I no money now for ages I have just split with my partner. This week just gets better0
