Hourly rate wrong on payslip

The company i work for has in the last 2 payslips shown my hourly rate to be wrong. I still get paid the correct amount but as i am about to apply for a mortgage i was wondering if the building society will query this. I have spoken to the payroll dept but they are pretty useless, blaming a problem with IT, new software. Was wondering if anyone knows if my work, they are a very large UK based company, are doing anything wrong.

Thanks for your help
