Anyone familiar with this branch of PC World? My son has some promo work there on Sunday (is a student in Liverpool) and he is trying to find a route by public transport but he doesnt know the area as he is living in the city centre.
Any locals familiar with how the best way to get there.....
Would be very grateful ...
Thanks

Hiya
There will be quite a few different buses he will be able to get. His best bet will be to use this tool

That way he will be able to work out his times as well

It's near Liverpool South Parkway train station, trains go from both Lime Street and Central to LSP.0

Thanks for this - we dont know the area at all - is it fairly visible (they usually are!) as there seems to be a number of buses/train but all require a little walk at the other end? Will he spot it???0

Use the the following link below to bring up Merseytravel's Journey Planner and put in your own post code and PC World Garston post code L19 5NZ and follow on screen instructions - you can even put in an arrival time so that your not late - I have tried this myself it took to a bus stop outside Garston railway station and there are maps to show you where to go from there.

hi lushcat
...
It depends upon what area of the city centre your son lives... but the no82 is generally the main bus for that route. The journey can be rather cramped during peak hours so id suggest getting the train from the city centre to the new southpark railway .. then its a few minutes walk to pc world.. in fact u can actually see pc world from the station.
what subject is your son doing at liverpool?"Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering"0 -
He lives near Hope Street at Lennon Studios. He is studying Arts, Theatre and Music Management at LIPA.
He is going to be working demonstrating Windows Vista at PC World on weekends. No freebies for me though
