The laptop says its a Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1000 (EUR) [Included in Price]
My router is linkksys wireless g wrt54g and all the network cards are g11 that use the wireless system. Have I ordered the wrong thing as there were other choices during configuration, there were -
Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1000 (EUR) [Included in Price]
Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030 (1x2 b/g/n+ Bluetooth Combo Card) [add £10.00 or £1/month1]
Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 (2x2 b/g/n+ Bluetooth Combo Card) [add £20.00 or £1/month1]
Do I need to cancel and re-order? Oh blummin heck please say no

no, all wireless N cards also have 'G' in them, so you can still use wireless at 'G' speeds, but be safe in the knowladge that if you upgrade to an N router in the future then the new laptop can take advantage of those faster 'N' speeds, (N routers also do G as well)
