Please help, under threat of eviction. Anyone know of a lender prepared to consider giving mortgages with low interest rates to lone parents on low income with bad credit history? Thanks KVBSaver

much more info is needed.
how much do you need to borrow, what level of income you have (and from where), the details of the "bad credit", and property value will give us a chance.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser code of conduct. I work in the sub-prime market and this is no joke. I speak to people in this situation all the time. Eveybody wants a low rate unfortunatley we cant always have what we want. But there are some lenders that will look at this case0

My Mortgage is an Interest only mortgage for £170'000 paying an interest rate of 7.25%, currently in joint names with an ex-partner whom is un-cooperative. The account is currently approx £7'000 in arrears which has accrued since the departure of my ex 5yrs ago. Have not been able to make any changes or agree consolidation due to arrears and ex partner.
C&G have now agreed to consolidate without ex's signature and then talk to me about reducing the interest rate but only if I maintain full monthly payments which no can do at 7.25%. Income is low, I work part time, and rest is based on benefits and maintenance that is not always regular. Gross annual income including benefits is approx £16'000 (not enough for a mortgage that I need) thought about going self certified. Am just desperate to reduce monthly outgoing as I am living on a shoestring with 2 kids under 14yrs.0
