£10 wife Xmas present challenge!

I'm after a bit of help. Me and Mrs W have agreed to only spend £10 on each other this Xmas so we can save money and concentrate on our three kids.
My better half is very creative and great at buying pressies but I am clueless.
I really want to impress her and make her feel special. It's our 10th anniversary the week before and she is a total star. :happylove
All I can think of is getting her a Lottery ticket and some chocolate, which means I'd have about £8 left to spend. But those ideas are pretty dull.
Any female moneysavers with cheap pressy ideas that work for you? What can I do to make her laugh and feel appreciated?
Any suggestions welcome. :T

I think these are good and you probably would be able to make it yourself cheaper as it tells you what they have put in it
I think making things are far more personal and your wife would love this rather than just presents as she will know you have made an effort rather than just bought something
and if your thinking of a lottery ticket then make a pot of gold hamper there is a thread on here to help with a poem you can print of or ask for help to make it more personal
pot of gold ,,,, gold cup/bowl gold sweets chocs or anything gold coloured add lottery ticket wrap up like a hamper with ribbons and poem pictures and help on the thread0 -
Thanks, Loopylass!
That's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for.0 -

or find a lovely poem for your wife and do the same

Another idea is fill a scrap book up of photos and memories from when you met right up until now with wouldnt cost a lot as you already have the photos and just write things under the pictures or dates of memories etc0 -
i would love all these things
a good brand glitter nail varnish ..opi,zoya ,nails inc,etc.....try ebay for some of these items..
a diamonte,crystal photo frame{these are so pretty and sparkly}
they sell nice big poinsetta plants in lidl,s..i think it was about £4..it has red flowers all over it and is very pretty .
a yankee candle especially coffee flavour
what i would do though is ignore the limit and get her something lovely and expensive.
i would love something like a facelift or a pony.0 -
Debenhams have a sale on Yankee candles
Also the telegraph have a ten pound off a twenty pound spend voucher for molten brown on Saturday too, they have some lovely creams and lotions.
Superdrug have some lovely gift sets, and some in the three for two.
Hope this helps"Live each day as if it were your last and garden as though you will live forever"

What about incorporating a homemade chequebook, with different promises that she can cash in. You can make things up to suit yourself but examples are a massage, or you to run her a bath, or get up with the kids to give her a lie in when she wants, cook the dinner, breakfast in bed. Anything you think she might like.
You'd just need to cut some A4 paper into 3, write things like 'I, Craig W, promise to pay the bearer of this cheque a takeaway and slushy film evening' sign it, and staple them together. You could even make a cover with her name on or something.
I'm going to do this for my husband this year. We don't have a lot to spend on presents for each other, but I think he'll like this.0 -
How about taking the voucher idea and twisting it a bit? Buy a bottle of wine, two glasses and a picnic rug (think you could do that for a tenner) and then arrange a date with friends/family for them to babysit - lock it in, get it 100% confirmed then give her the gifts with a note attached saying you're going to watch the sunset on x date and will be needing these items.0

ooo i love a challenge. I would choose my favourite photos, ones you havent seen in ages of special places and ones togetherover your 10 years and get them printed for free (postage only) at lidl aldi fuji or somewhere like that and make a memory book (just by a nice notebook) you can add snip its like bits of maps for holidays or a any other bits that remind you of where you have been and what you have done. if you have money left a would treat her to her favourite treat choc wine bubble bath and make a voucher for a no strings attatched foot rub hot bath soap fest (what ever floats her boat) and make sure she gets it. My husband is brilliant at being creative and always puts me to shame. Just have a sit down and think about what she enjoyed doing when she had the time. Good luck at least your making the effort in asking what ideas people can come up with.0
