    the best money saving tip i can think of is dont buy anything else until you know he can get married here, i doubt youl get deposits back because of this unless you have stated in a contract that you can
    when you do get the go ahead reasearch is key, shop around for the best price
    why is it different this time to the other times hes visited? do you have to have a special visa to get married here? i would have thought the notice to marry ment he can marry here
    I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p

    Yes, fiance visa costs about £500, and if he wants to stay in the UK afterwards it's another £600 (takes about a month), or you can pay £850 for a same day decision. Also if he is living in the UK for 6 months every year on a visitors visa this increases the chance of being denied entry in the future, especially if married, as he needs to get the correct visa.

    If not approved for any reason, have you thought about getting married in Cuba?
