Recommend me QUALITY dining experiences round Waltham Forest/ Redbridge!
hi all
just moved into the area ( E11) and looking for somewhere with good quality, made on the premises food. NO preprepared rubbish ( micro lasagnes etc)
Any sort of food, an idea of prices would be nice, and why you recommend it!

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Lynz - get on the tube/bus and go to Tayyabs or the Lahore Kebab house, near Aldgate. They're inexpensive, and some of the best Pakistani food I've ever tasted!2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
Hi Lynz, I can recommend The Arc in Wanstead/Snaresbrook on Hermon Hill, its a mainly seafood restaurant. El Toro Loco right near Wanstead Station is very good for Tapas. Nam An is a good Vietnamese in Wanstead as well. Those are the three I go to most of the time and never really felt let down afterwards but there are a lot of restaurants to choose from around Wanstead anyway (where I live). If you venture a little further on to South Woodford and Woodford, a lot of choice and good restaurants there as well. Not too sure what there is on the Waltham Forest side.0

Try The Star of India in Leytonstone. It was voted best restaurant in Waltham Forest in 2006 by the Waltham Forest Guardian. I have been there and it's very nice.
