Re Barratts going into administration. I recently ordered a pair of boots from their online store. The boots are not suitable and cost £80 so I want to send them back. I paid online with a credit card.
I tried to take the boots back to our local Priceless store today, but the store was closed, apparently due to a 'flood' from the rain last night, but this seems suspicious, seeing as the company is now in administration. I do not have a Barratts store local, so would have to return the boots by post.
Can anyone advise me whether or not it would be sensible to return the boots, given that the company is now in administration? Would I be likely to get my money refunded to my credit card?
Or should I just cut my losses, keep hold of the boots and try to sell them on ebay?0
