I had my second Twitter advent win today, A Gruffalo Book from the Tesco advent. I'm super pleased, I love the Gruffalo! Congrats everyone for the first week.. good luck everyone for the second week.

Does anyone remember the advents last year?

Sony had an advent comp through facebook. I was hoping they'd have one this year... but there is no sign of one. They had such fantastic prizes and there were lots of MSE winners including myself!

I think I might relax a bit on the advents. I've been frantically trying to enter all the ones with prizes that I want to win, takes me forever, so much so that I have let everything else slide (including housework).
Thing is, whilst I genuinely love to hear about other peoples wins, it also highlights the fact that I have won zilch!! :rotfl: especially when alot of people have had three or four in a day!
I know that you shouldn't enter comps to win but to enjoy entering but I have become so frantic with the advents I'm not enjoying it much!!
Right, I'm going to do some housework before my husband throws me out!! Good luck all x

I'm new to MSE and comping so this is my first advent. Found out two days ago that I've won a 2 night stay in a 4* suite in Budapest with the Design Hotels advent

So far i've won on the Heinz advent (Dec 1st) i won on all 3 Heinz comps on the same day so thats 3 tea towels! haha also won a £50 Laura Ashley voucher on Twitter on friday

Wow Fritha, congrats!

SilvahKaylah, I went out last night and stopped doing competitions at about 4pm yesterday, and have barely touched them today. I just needed a break! Thankfully the main board has been quite slow today so I'm hoping to catch up with the dailies and advents now.
