Does anyone know about Facebook settings ?

Have been fortunate to win a lovely pair of boots from Love My Shoes on Facebook -They have asked me to reply to their direct message which I did'nt recieve - I had this same problem with Wonderful Pistachios but fortunatly they gave me an email address to reply to via a message I posted ( although still waiting to recieve them) Is there any special app that I need to recieve these messages - because I dont want ot lose out on prizes because of this.

there is an others folder where your messages are try there x

Go into your privacy settings and check you have allowed people who are not friends to send you messages.

Sometimes the notifications don't come up (facebook glitch) so also just check your messages from time to time anyway.

On the left hand column, you have newfeed, then messages click messages from there and it should open messages but also open the sub section of others below the messages button, click on that and you should find it in there x

I found it under the other folder and was able to apply for my boots :j

but feel absolutely gutted because I have lost out on 2 lovely prizes which I won back in September One was for £250 to spend on a clothing website but I dont think it was re-drawn so the person that sent the message is contacting the website tomorrow to see if anything can be done and the other was for so Fragrance which was re-drawn - could cry about the £250.

I never even knew the other messages was there - I am not the most computer literate of people but on the plus at least I will recieve my nuts and boots.

Thank you for bringing the other to my attention and fingers crossed I may still get the £250 voucher.

I'm so glad I read this post.
I looked in my sub folder and found out I won Lipstick from StyleDirections.com on the 2nd of Dec.
It was "Win a Lippy" comp, and you won the colour you chose.
I just replied, hope I still get to claim the lipstick.
