make and sell halal baby food

I've become so frustrated at the lack of limited baby food jars - egg custard, vzrious pastas and deserts I can give to my baby. There is absolutely no meat baby food,I do make mine at home -chicken roast, fish, lamb with veggies sunday roast etc so why not make halal baby food and sell it it the supermarkets. I know that mumtaz do some and my local asda did sell it at a point but they stopped and I didn't like it as there were too many asian spices in it, so this is my idea - I maybe just dreaming it but this is how it gets started - look at that guy on dragons den regae rega sauce.

it would be so convenient to grab a jar of halal meat while shopping and my baby getting iron.

so where do I get started

I think market research might be a start, find out if there is a need for it or a demand for it. Who will buy it, where, how much for etc that kind of stuff.

I think its a great idea!
I dont need to use halal meat myself, and my kids are past the age of using baby food, but if i were you i'd be finding out about halal baby food that is currently in use, and how much it costs, how big the market is etc.

Sounds like a great idea - there are many food processing companies Halal approved, so it could be a goer as they'll already be certified and have all the health certificates etc. First, though, find if there's a market and get your proposed brand in front of a few buyers to gague response
