Christmas board games - recommendations please

I'll have 4 late teens/early 20's round on Christmas Day in addition to adults.

What games would you recommend that'll be suitable please? Something with a bit of a competitive edge to it would be great.

TIA

    Articulate is a good one.
  • Charades? :)
  • If everyone has a bit of a sense of humour, rapidough or original cranium can be fun with the modelling with playdough (yes they are suitable for adult games!)

Cranium can be good fun, and the questions would be suitable for all ages.

Another I'd recommend is Rapidough or Lego Creationary, they are basically Pictionary but using dough and Lego respectively. Out of those two I find that Rapidough is a big faster moving, but if there are Lego lovers that might go down better.

Logo seems to be very popular, although I haven't played it so can't really comment on it. Perhaps look at some reviews online about the different games and see which would suit your family best?
  • We have logo and it is quite a good, simple game. Not so good in our house as our kids are a bit too young for some of the questions - would be good for older ones/adults though.

Pictionary always makes me cry with laughter! :T
