Can anyone recommend a cream/lotion that I can use all over my body which is suitable for sensitive, irritated skin? Looking for something that rubs in easily & dosen't just sit on the skin.

I would suggest an oil like almond oil, at night anyway. (and cheap cotton PJ's!)0

I like Dove and I have got very sensitive skin, also Astral. Do you just mean body in general.
I got E45 for my daughter.
You can get those big tubs of aquaeous cream from poundshops that they advise for skin conditions, but i never liked it.1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
50p: Christmas presents £3.50
£2: holidays £2.000 -

I've been using Aveeno lotion having managed to develop some kind of dermatitis/eczema which is driving me to distraction. Other creams/lotions helped with the dryness but this seemed to be soothing and stop the itching.

I have been using the Johnson's body care range, I find the Dreamy skin Relaxing body cream (in a lilac tub) very good for sensitive skin and the 24 hour moisture body cream (pink tub) is excellent too, but you do have to hunt around for them in the shops, could not find them in Boots or Superdrug last time and got them from Tesco in the end.0

I second this:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
Liz Earle is well out of my price range unfortunatly & Dove can make my skin worse (probably the strong scent).
Used to use Dermol, but it contains petrolium (apolgies about spelling).
Might give the Aveeno a whirl. The problem skin is mainly top of my back & shins, although I could do with a cream that is suitable for all over.0 -
Aveeno again - I got a really bad reaction to Palmer's Cocoa Butter cream and also break out with any Johnson's products, especially their baby oil. A pharmacist recommended the body lotion I can use it quite happily.0

Wow Aveeno do quite a large range for face & body. Where is the best place to buy any of the products?0

I also can't stand creams that just sit on the surface of your skin or leave residue. I'm using E45 and Vaseline Intensive Rescue body lotion by the handful at the moment, they sink in really well and seem to be helping soothe my irritated skin. If you can't use petroleum products though then check the ingredients in the Vaseline body creams as I think they may contain this.0
