All,
Finally braving the realisation that I dont clear my credit cards on a monthly basis and as such have built up #12,076 of credit card debt!
Not huge I know but enough to get me worrying. Going to make a public update as to how I am doing to motivate me, so please use me as a motivator or use me as a 'i dont want to get to that situation'
What I have done so far:
cancelled sky sports/ movies and magazine subscription - saving 60 per month - set up auto bill payment for that amount to go to credit card
Moved balance onto a 16 month int free deal
e-bay lots of rubbish i have bought so far on 300 and lots more to put up
Cut up cards!
I have a disposable income over 400 pcm that I will be using to clear debt and I receive 1/4'ly bonus' which I will use to clear so I am aiming for 12 months to be debt free!!
