Lloyds TSB has still failed to clear a massive backlog of unpaid PPI compensation, leading to more anger from mis-selling victims.

How far in arrears are you?

You do realise they will use your PPI refund to make up the payments you havn't bothered making don't you.

You seem far too green eyed in your desperate desire to grab some Christmas cash.

Consider the PPI refund a bonus, I managed never to accept any kind of ppi in over 25 years of banking.

    Me too.
Thing is though, a lot of people didn't even realise they were paying PPI until the scandal broke. I am glad that the banks are getting their just desserts - legalised (or illegalised now!) robbery. It will be interesting to see the final stats of payback.

Even though they were given a policy booklet and a loan agreeement highlighting the fact they have cover and breaking down the costs (and suffered amnesia about the conversation with the seller where it was discussed and documented).

I know of dozens of upheld complaints where all the above happened.

I cant actually see anywhere in the conditions how long they have to return.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I bet loads have borrowed money on the strength of getting the money. Some will be disappointed when they find out it has gone on the arrears.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

The OP does sum up a typical attitude, thinks nothing of not repaying her debt but goes on a tirade if the bank wont make her a priority to deal with later.

I would guess sometime next June to get the refund and another Christmas on PDL's which won't be repaid awaits the OP.

I remember this happening with the bank charges - the morning of the decision there was a big thread with people talking about what they were going to do with 'their' money.

It is interesting that most of those that reclaim(ed) the charges/ insurance that supposedly got them in debt are still in debt after the repayment. Almost makes their argument null and void. ;)
