Need to get a couple of PS2 games for daughters partner. He lives on the bloody thing.
So please can you let me know where to get the more modern games, what to get?
Not a clue. Cheapest please!

If you look on the play.com best sellers it'll give you a combination of the newest and the cheapest games, so that might be a good place to start.
If he spends a lot of time on it, however, it might be hard to get something he doesn't have already - you also need to make sure you get games he'd like.
Could you not get your daughter to either make a list herself (does she know much about it?) or get him to write down some that he'd want?0 -
There are some good review sites that may give you an idea of decent modern games. They can be accessed through gamestracker, which also has the best prices on the net for the games.0

Probably best to get him a Game gift card which can be bought in a Game store or online or some Gamestation gift vouchers.
