Any have issues exchanging a Mail Rewards voucher

I got a £20 Mail Rewards voucher, on the front it says it can be used at a fair few retailers, Tesco's, Iceland, Argos to name but a few. I've tried Iceland and Tesco's neither would accept it,
Its usually goes the same way, you go to the till, the assistant looks at it, hmm and haa, then calls the supervisor who does the same, then calls the manager who does the same, this process could take 15-20 mins, in the end I just give up and pay by cash,
Has anyone else had issues with these?

I didn't go for the £20 voucher but I thought the one you are went for didn't include Tesco as there was an exclusive one for £15 for them. So that might explain it not being valid in Tescos.
Are you sure it says Tesco on the front? 0 -
Just had a quick look and the reward choices were:
£25 of DVDs and games at Zavvi.com - curl up on the sofa with the family to enjoy watching your favourite movies like Avatar, Iron Man 2 and Bridesmaids;
£15 Tesco voucher - now you can buy that big turkey to share with the family, with all the trimmings!
£20 Mail Rewards Gift Card to spend in leading high street stores like Toys R Us, Debenhams, Argos and Boots;
A stunning Liz Earle beauty set worth £44 - spoil your wife, mother or daughter this Christmas.
The third option - the £20 Mail Rewards Gift Card - is the one you got and is actually a £20 Flexecash card. You can check the validity and the retailers at
Flexecash.com
Defo includes Iceland :T0 -

Ah well that explains that, Made a bit of a !!!!!! of myself there lol, Iceland didn't have a clue about it either though.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I think Iceland might just be clueless about the Flexecash card. I went last Saturday with one of their own leaflets with a £3 off £30 voucher. Even had Stacey Solomon on the cover.
It looked like it was the first time the checkout operative had seen it despite it being included in a Sunday national newspaper.0
