Take advantage of the intimacy of Christmas morning to be really stupid with your family more than you ordinary would. Take the lead in this, and persist when they laugh at you, and you'll soon all be laughing together and, whoops, you've taken a 15 minute break from present-opening

When you are about halfway through opening the presents, or whenever there is enough discarded wrapping paper to do it, -- coz, it's all in a big pile in the middle of the floor, right? -- then try to fashion yourself some reindeer antlers out of said discarded wrapping paper :j Bonus points if you can get a headband-type structure to hold them up for at least ten seconds :T
