CCJ - dealing with it

            Quick update on this.
Had a response from the local county court a couple of weeks ago.
They have set a court date for next Friday.
I assume this means they aren't happy with the evidence I supplied (basically a letter from old landlord which stated dates I was resident and a copy of a BT phonebill at my current address at the time the CCJ was issued)
I'm really nervous about going to court. What can I expect? Should I be getting more evidence together.
My whole case seems to hinge on the fact that I'd moved from the address the summons was sent to and wasn't aware of the debt nor did I receive a summons.
 Would appreciate any advice/support!0

I just think that, basically, since you had not received the original court summons, and therefore were not in a position to submit a defence, the court hearing will be a 're-run' of the original.
Now is the time to submit your defence against the original claimant.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Just a quick update - just got back from court.
Sat down and the judge explained that I had a duty of care to inform the claimant of my new address details etc... I explained that this was the case.
He presented a new piece of evidence that the claimant had sent which revised the amount they were asking for to £80.
Taking this into account the judge said he was happy to set the judgement aside and the claimant now have 14 days to submit another claim!
Hopefully they'll serve it to the correct address now!0
