Short term loans?
Hi All,
I was wondering what the best and most cost effective way of getting a short term loan would be. I'm just about to re-train as a pilot and am using most of the capital from my house to do it after my house is sold. However my house won't be on the market for another month and I want to start training asap rather than wait say 6-8 months for the funds to come through.
What would be the best way to get hold of say 50k with a view to paying it back as soon as my house sales goes through. I was going to approach my bank for an overdraft so it gives me flexibility on the amount I end up borrowing and the timescale for paying it back. I'm not sure if they will agree to an overdraft for this amount but will ask them anyway.
Any ideas please?

You are highly unlikely get £50k on a single unsecured loan and I would certainly question the sense of getting secured debt on a property you are about to sell.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
