Not the same but Aldi mushy peas are 100% tasteless too.
  • Branston baked beans are very delicious. I love much. And it's worthy with what you pay. I'm sure.

Baked beans have been £1.00 for a 4 pack (Cross & Blackwell) in Iceland for as long as I can remember. Personally I think Heinz beans are horrid (and their soups too)!

Branston Baked Beans 410g can (pack of 24) £6.91 (28.8p/Can) at Amazon. Works out roughly £1.15 x 4

On Amazon it actually says £7.68 but if you use 'subscribe and save' and then cancel the subscription after it's been dispatched, it should come to £6.91 altogther.

And if you don't fancy the hassle of Amazon's 'subscribe and save' then: Branston Beans 410g can BOGOF 59p at Tesco. May be in store only though as nothing showing online.
  • I love Branston but used to like the Aldi ones until I got some last month and they weren't nice at all. Luckily I have a load of Branston tins in now so won't be trying any others again! I have also noticed that the Aldi tomato ketchup, which used to be lovely is revolting now!

Agree with OP. Started buying Branston Beans when HP did the dirty on their British workers and we now get their tomato and brown sauces too, not only yummy but made in England.

Our local Co-op had them at £1.27 for 4 a couple of weeks ago, and I only got 2 lots. Gutted. Would rather go without than eat inferior brands (inc. Heinz).
