Looks like theyve updated the offer
"Buy a Dell flat panel (E173, 1704FP, 2001FP, 2005FPW, 2405FP) and get the second one (the same) for half the price !!!

You can buy 17 TFTs for £130.00
Not a good deal at their prices.
And if anything should go wrong with it, you're stu**ed with their after sales."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
I have to agree with the Dell after sales service
spoke to a guy in India I think , who couldnt understand a word of what I was trying to say then advised me wrongly
then called again for the second time and asked for a Vat receipt , was told was already in the post
10 days later I am still waiting
thier systems are good and deals are good , but for after sales follow up is well the word "terrible" springs to mindHelp enough people get what they want and you will automatically get what you want0 -
They've also put their prices up compared to what they were before the offer. The 2001FPW (20" TFT) was only £440ish about 3 weeks ago1wheel > 2wheels > 4wheels0

ho hum, ho hum... just spoke to a nice irish man and apparently a few people have had a problem with BOGOF monitors today. They will be honouring the BOGOF offer, and refunding those who have been overcharged. Happy me! (Just need to smuggle them past the girlfriend now...)All my views are my monkey's views. I give advice on behalf of my pet monkey and do I give banana related advice. All my posts are my monkey's opinion and no-one else's.0

The Dell website has a curious little offer which at the time of writing this seems to be hidden.
Currently if you buy one monitor from the website you can get an equivalent second monitor for 50% less.
This was buy one get one free a couple of days ago but they seem to have changed the offer slightly.
There’s nothing on the site to promote this. It only comes up once you add 2 to your basket but it’s there non the less.
What is even better is that you seem to get further discount by phoning the sales team direct.
I just bought 2 (have the invoice to prove it) 24” widescreen lcd monitors for £1,081 inc vat and del working out at little over £500 each.
They are currently listed at £729 exc vat and del on the site and even with the hidden offer two still come in at £1,093 exc vat and del.
A few people seem to have caught onto this which is why there has been a flood of “unopened” dell monitors on ebay with a hundred pounds off the list price.
Simply do a search for 2405FPW on ebay to see what I mean.
Apparently the 50% off the second monitor offer expires at the end of March but I have no idea how long the sales staff will be offering their super discount offers. I’ve heard possibly tomorrow.
The contact I bought the monitors through at Dell is a woman called Paula and can be reached (although apparently she’s off today but in tomorrow) on 0870 907 5156. I'd advise just trying to get a hold of anyone in the sales team.0
