Hi all just wondered if you could help out on my brother in laws situation.
He currently owns his own house and has a mortgage on it, his girlfriend is moving in a few weeks and is going to be paying him £400 per month towards running the house and mortgage. What we want to know is if he takes money from her towards the mortgage does she have any sort of claim on his house if they ever split up?
And if she can how can he cover himself?

Well, I dont know really, but they could start calling it rent and not something towards the mortgage.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
