I won an item at 99p with high postage which I accepted by bidding. Knock at the door tonight it's been hand delivered.

Well, how else was he going to get it to you?
He might have just by chance been going in your general direction and decided on a detour to yours; or he could live down the road.
I don't understand the problem. You knew the price and you have the item. Win-win.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

If you feel agrieved at the P&P charges and feel a vast ammount was saved hand delivering the item maybe giving low stars for P&P would be an option.
After all excessive postage is not the right way to boost your profits0 -
Hand delivered by the seller or hand delivered by the postie. What's the problem, really?Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

No problem. I was just taken by surprise.
I don't have a problem with it being hand delivered as someone has gone out of their way to make sure it arrived safely.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

i bought a ps3 game for my son at 10 o'clock on saturday morning a few weeks ago
1035am knock at the door, seller with the game in his hand
my son was delighted, as was i :T0 -
Sometimes in my area if it's a large item and local it's actually cheaper to send out a same day courier than a standard one, which usually gets me very happy buyers, or I'll deliver it myself, but as all my stuff is free P&P anyway I never have a complaint!!!0
