Asda taking money twice!!

AAARRRGGH!
Asda have done this twice now and I am suffering because of it!
I ordered online shopping and it came to £178
When the order came today it was only £174 as there were items unavailable
They have taken the £178 AND the £174 in "holding" so basically off my available balance and I cannot get it back until Friday!!!
This is a joke and when I call them they say "Speak to your Bank"
I need a number or someone I can email
can anyone help with this?
Santander told me just now that they have been inundated with the same complaint this week!!

I thought this had more to do with your bank than the seller. Seems not.
Saying that, a friend of mine used to get this when banking with Citibank. It was a NIGHTMARE as everything purchase would involve a double hold. That was many years ago and maybe that's stopped now...

They did this to us and quite frankly they couldn't have cared less. They said it was the bank's fault, the bank insisted that that it was Asda. There was nothing they could do or so they said and it eventually went back into our account. This is one of the many reasons that we will never use them again.
