The mortgage I have has no limit on overpayments made in a single year.

I have just logged on to check my account and the ERC based on the amount owing is £3120.
  • Hiya, then it's a simple calculation, interest due over the life of your mortgage - is that less or more than your ERC? If it is cheaper to clear the mortgage then that's your decision made.

    Good luck, Tilly

  • Prevailing rates your paying out versus earnings should make this a no brainer for you.
