Hi all
I'm catering for a party on Saturday and already bought a gammon half price in Morrisons to cook and slice, was wondering if anyone has seen beef on a similar special offer in any of the supermarkets?

I can recommend the £4.44 per kg beef from Asda. I bought a silverside piece yesterday. I cut it into two small joints and cut a few pieces off for a stew. We had one joint yesterday and it was really good. The roasting joints were cheaper per kg than the shin or casserole.
They had pork too (£3 per kg?) but I don't think that was any cheaper than it has been before. Also legs of lamb but I haven't compared the price of that with what I usually pay.
If I can clear a little space in my freezer I think I'll try to buy some more while the price lasts.0
