Hi guys!
I got engaged at the weekend - YAY! :T

We're not going to start hardcore planning yet as we have a baby due in March, so wedding will probably be end of 2013...

But I had a question... I see lots of deals about for 50-100 guests - unfortunately that wouldn't even cover my family! Let alone his family or any close friends...

All I want is a church wedding then a big party with a buffet.

Does anyone know of any hotels or anything that allows more than 100 guests on decent deals (as we want to do a budget wedding!!)
I'm from Hertfordshire.

Thanks everyone xxx

  • Congratulations!

Hi - can't be specific for your area, but thought I'd let you know that our hotel venue has a room for up to 300 people - so there are places out there!

I'd just start googling "wedding venue Hertfordshire", have a look at their websites to see if you like them, then call to see if they're big enough!

Try searching on hitched.co.uk venue search.

You can narrow it down by capacity, location, whether they are licensed, have accommodation etc.

I found it quite useful as an initial list of suggestions to investigate.
