BTL Landlords - nominated for the ....

New Years Honours list?

As we carry out such an important social function, surely we should be rewarded in such a way.

An MBE for services to the homeless ..... that's the very minimum I would expect.

Can you start a petition that I be recognised?

Most humble thank yous ...

Sort of a chicken and egg arguement but here goes.

If there wasn't to many BTL's bought up house prices would be lower and there would be less needing to rent.

So is it providing a service or creating your own forced market?

That is only true IF FTB's could get the finance ... they cannot.

Therefore, by me risking my money, I am housing the homeless - that just has to be worth a nomination?

Well as you have no assets MrRee I dont think you will be getting an award any time soon. Maybe the nurse can give you a gold star with your medication today.

Mr Ree, I'm not sure that continuing to pay the mortgage on the family home where your wife still lives after kicking you out counts as being a "landlord" in the strictest sense of the word.

OH, dear MASSIVE fail there Jimmy, me lad ........ I am more than twice your age and at 31 I certainly was not:-

    1. Living with Mummy

    or ..

    2. Spending all my time posting on the Internet

At 31 you really SHOULD be doing something other than this, getting a girlfriend maybe?

I'm being serious, Jimmy - step out that door and live a little.
