Bank charges!

I recently wrote to Abbey to request refund of bank charges. I requested the amount and would you believe, they sent me a copy of every single bank statement for the past six, yes six years! I was outraged! Am I wrong to think that they should have done a total amount for me or am I supposed to do this myself?

I'd be grateful to know if anyone has got any further with their bank...

Cheers in advance

Have a look at Martin's article on this, it will explain all the steps, and yes, I'm afraid you will have to add it up yourself. They are not going to tell you how much you should sue them for!

You have to do it yourself.
