Overtime Cancellation

I have been working for a large supermarket part-time for the last 5 years or so.
Every Sunday I do between 4 and 5 hours of overtime on Stock Control.
Yesterday was a Christmas meal for the Deli (the other dept I work) and therefore I could not work the overtime, I had informed my manager previously, however he had left and we have a new manager, he had not received any communication or holiday dates from my previous boss. (unbeknownst to me)
Yesterday he asked where I was and I told him I would not be in due to the xmas meal, he hung up on me and that was that.
My friend rang me later to ask tell me that afterwards this manager had gone "mental" and called me a "little w***ker" and said that "this is the last time he will be working for me on a sunday, I don't have as big as budget anymore and I could spend it elsewhere"
I felt bad so i came in for 2 hours to help out (All i could spare really) and left.
I am incredibly worried that I will loose this overtime (which makes up over 50% of my wages!!) and I was wondering if I could do anything to combat this?
Not sure if the fact I've been doing this overtime for 2 odd years helps my case at all?
Thanks in advance
Steve

Were any of your conversations/holiday request with the other manager documented in writing, or was it all just verbal?0

sadly overtime is never a guarantee and whilst there are issues at your work place regarding such allocation in the future it would be advisable to ensure your budget does not include overtime money and when you get hooray a bonus but you should never rely on it even when it becomes a necessityI am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0
