Stainless steel Gas Cooker?
Smag
60 cm (freestanding) gas cooker.
I've been to the usuals (comet, currys etc) and cant help feeling I am about to be ripped off when they pounce on you and try selling you everything including the kitchen sink.
Wondered if there are any good retailers out there (manchester/oldham) who can be relied upon for good advice?

For good advise try John Lewis. There is one in the Trafford Centre, but that doesn't open until May. There is one in Cheadle but my geography is rubbish so I'm not sure how far that is from you (sorry).
Their sales staff are really knowledgeable about the products they sell and can answer most questions.
They also have a price guarantee, 'Never knowingly undersold' it is something along the lines of; find it cheaper within 28 days and we'll refund the difference.
Also, if you have a good search on the grabbit board or the online discounts board there are often discount codes if you order online (free delivery or £10 off £50 spend etc.)When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt

my advice is to look around the big retailers find a brand /style oven that you like and then look the price up through some of the online retailers. We did this and bought a gas hob (and other appliances) through QED - they were A LOT cheaper and delivery etc was no problem.0
