I got one too - angry & disappointed doesn't even come close. It was a stupid e-mail to send out - getting hopes up like that.

I got this too...heart skipped a beat when I saw the title...scrolled down and saw the winners name and thought !!!!!!? Then I confess about a minute later I had a good chuckle! Maybe it was only meant for the winners, I can't imagine that they want to lose hundreds of potential customers.

No harm done to me anyway, I'm not sure what I would do if I had actually won...my year long mission would have come to an end...I think I would be a bit lost without my target to aim at!

Guess that's one way to get people to open their emails... also a good way to lose customers and subscribers and generally p*** everyone off!

They have been lying about the email being a 'nice surprise for the winner' instead of saying that it was a very badly worded way of getting people to read the whole email ( and one which didn't pay any attention to people's feelings), then started crying that 'why can't people accept that it was a mistake', then started accusing people of being shallow and not remembering the real bad things in the world, then accused people of proffering 'defamatory' comments - all the while conveniently deleting comments here and there.

Now they've stopped people from posting or commenting altogether - but not before posting themselves one last time to basically tell people to shut up.

I AM SUPERUNIMPRESSED with them, have unsuscribed and going to complain to this email: complaints@theipm.org.uk

I had that email and it is very rude, they clearly said if your name at the bottom in the email, how can that be by accident? I am going to complain too, hope everyone else does.
