  • I love the Loch Ness Monster toy ideas (esp as they will no doubt visit being in Dingwall)! Also liking the pyjama suggestions and vouchers. I do recall missing many good outlets when I lived in Australia a few years ago and noted on visits to New Zealand that the shopping variety there was more limited. I had thought to get them an experience voucher but the town they live in there is very remote in Southland so it would mean a long journey getting there! At least they can have the toys for the plane / pyjamas to wear and then my friends can stock up on some good products from Marksies!

Thank you all! Such excellent suggestions. I will also check out Ribena-Addicts links. Loving the little cars Tamster150. Thank you all.

You sound like a lovely friend and I'm sure whatever you get will be appreciated. I think classic children's books would be good.

The weather here is very cold at the moment and could well be very snowy by the time you are here so wrap up warm!
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Another vote for crafty bits. I used to love anything crafty when I was little (still do). The little girl might like some "pony beads" (ebay) and stretch magic (beading thread) so that she can make bracelets. And maybe some cardmaking bits? Or journals/mini scrapbooks, so that they can record their adventures over here? The works do some cheap crafty bits, if you have one nearby
