It used to cost more at Amazon as it did everywhere. Retailers are slashing prices all over the place (recession and to drive sales at the only time of year they can virtually guarantee them)

I have an old one of these, replaced by an HX6 series.

The HX5350 ONLY takes the Elite heads. That bit on the top that looks like a ProResults or HydroClean head isn't removable.

On the HX5350, the bit that makes the brush vibrate is in the brush head. In the newer models, it is in the handle.
