Hi, does anyone know if any shops in Belfast City centre are open before 1pm, please?

Official opening time is 1pm on Sundays so unlikely. St Georges Market is open this morning though and Christmas Market at City Hall may be.

Some big stores used to open around 12.30pm but the tills don't open until 1pm.

Castle Court was certainly open at 12.30 last Sunday but as already mentioned there will be no trading before 1pm.

I was in Debenhams and people were browsing and picking items from 12.30. By the time the tills opened at 1pm most of them had a queue of people waiting to pay for stuff.

If you want to get some free on street parking around North St or Gresham St I wouldn't leave it any later than 12.15.

The Christmas Market doesn't open until 1.00 on a Sunday.

The shops may open but no business is allowed before 1.pm courtesy of belfast city council allowing religious orders to dictate what time you may do your shopping on a sunday.Their religion insists they observe the sabbath and they want to enforce their views on you as much as they can............:cool::cool:
