Postman just woke me up with a recorded delivery letter. :T
YES I just won the seasonholidays.com Internet Prize draw of £3,750 and I only had to call a free 0800 number....can't be any trick here I thought. :j
My joy was soon quelled when I realised that I had never entered such a competition.
A quick search for seasonholidays.com brought me here to join the rest of my fellow lucky winners. I am just wondering whether we all have something in common.....the rest of you please look in the mirror....do you look like a "mug"?.....thought not....I just tried it and I certainly don't. :rotfl:
Well back to work on Monday.....
Regards to all you lucky winners!

We received the same letter several weeks ago and were dubious. We checked up by doing a bit of research, including checking this web site, and rang them for more info. When we didn't arrange an induction day they rang us and offered an overnite stay and the first years maintainance fee free.
Last weekend we went to whitbarrow village near ullswater.
The accommodation is excellent, we stayed in an "ullswater suite" which was compact, well furnished and ideal for the two of us (You can do a virtual tour on the seasons web site). The facilities are good including a small fitness suite, pool, jacuzzi and sauna.:beer:The food in the restaurant was of very high standard and reasonably priced, we payed about £30 for 2 courses. Bar prices are similar to pub prices in the area. All in all we were impressed.0 -
Surely the point of all this is that the letter states you have won a prize whereas in reality this is just a marketing ploy?
A prize is something which involves no cost to yourself.
Whether or not the holidays themselves are any good is kind of irrelevant really because the fact is you have forked out money for something you had no intention of paying for BEFORE you received the letter.
If I was interested in this kind of holiday I think I would prefer to give my money to a company who don't use sly tatics to get you on their books. Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small
