Aww how excitingI cant wait to read the arrival x Sorry you have probably already said do you know if its a boy or a girl? x
At least they prepared you and asked you to bring your bag. I went for my scan at 40 weeks ( I was having scans every 2 weeks becuase Cam was 4lb 7 born full term and Lexi had stopped growing at 32 weeks but I refused induction, because apart from being small all was healthy) Anyway back to the point I went in for my scan and they kept me in and she was born 4 hours later :rotfl:0 -

Hi HiddenIdentity
have subscribed now but need to go and do some stuff.
Ok, some of this you may already know and I am not trying to teach you anything you don't already know but MSE is a huge place and not everyone realises how many threads there are but:
1. Make £10 a day challenge - a great motivator and you don't have to make £10 - just something great to aim for. there will be new thread for January 2012!you can always lurk and follow if you don't want to post.
2. Printable Coupon thread - I know you are on an amazingly tight budget, but if you don't have a printer, you can get some of the companies to post you the coupons and sometimes we get stuff for freeLike the Cravendale milk which has now stopped until January, they may not offer any more, but worth subscribing to the thread for things like this. We have had free toothpaste, free crips, free milk. and much more.
3. I can see you are already doing surveys, I like VO and Vistalive, have you tried to see if you can get taken on by Pinecone? They pay £3 per survey in either Luncheon Vouchers that can be used at some supermarkets, like Tesco and Iceland or you can request Paypal. it is hard to get in, but when you do, do every survey they send you. You can see from my signature, this is what I have earnt with them since Jan 1 2011!! And I was trying to save them for xmas shopping but as the need arose I used them to buy food. But still used £12 off free money today to shop at Tesco.
4. Have you found the OldStyle Board yet? Fab for sharing ideas on all styles of money saving, including cleaning products for the home, cooking from very limited items, and how to pad out meals so they stretch further. If you have a freezer, batch cook and freeze, this helps stretch meals. If you have a slow cooker, now is the time to use it
5. Approved Foods - they sell at a discount food that is out of date or due to go out of date, but as you will see from some of the threads, none of us have suffered for itI got a huge box of out of date barbecue walkers crisps, nothing wrong with them and DH asked when we were going to get more!
6. If you have any time, some of us are doing some sites that pay out in amazon vouchers, which is great for shopping on amazon.
7. If you have an aldi, home bargains, 99p shops, recommend these for food shopping cheap, esp for creating a store cupboard.
There is so much more, but will leave you to read the threads and digestYou can always ask if you don't understand anything.
