In the process of applying for Bankruptcy and was wondering about my contract mobile. Its not in arrears however the selling of the phone would help pay for the bankruptcy cost. Would the phone get locked? Can I include it?

If you have no need of a mobile and can raise the BR fees by selling it then I don't see why not. Any surplus the OR will probably want.
I don't know about sold phones getting locked, have a look at the Phones, Web & TV board. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

shouldnt be an issue BUT depends on the value of the mobile handset & how long you've had your contract forWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

keep the contract IF you can afford it & want it. looks good on the credit file and you may struggle to get one after BR...0

Its good to keep the contract if you can..otherwise it can be added to your bankruptcy
