Long time lurker here I find this board quite inspirational with everyone's determination to be MF. I don't know if this is a daft question but how much does the size of the deposit effect the interest rate. I know it depends on other factors such as the Boe rate and credit history, size of mortgage etc But say if you had more than 25% deposit would you be able to access cheaper deals. Thanks in advance i'm new to understanding mortgages. Thanks in advance.

You would definitely get the best deals with 25% down. Post on the other board Mortgages & Endowments.0
