Hi, I am fully employed and work hard i am trying so hard to get a £3500 pound loan to consolidate my debts and enjoy the new life we have with our baby, most of my debts are payday loans and i just want to pay them of and have money to enjoy life with my wife and baby, the only problem is i have a bad credit history and am struggling to find a loan that is not a guarantor loan and over the odds interest, if i could find this loan my life would change totally

No. It wouldn't.
You say you are "fully employed and work hard" but you have several debts including pay day loans which suggests you have been living beyond your means.
Now you have a new baby and that will, presumably, make life even more expensive.
I worry that twice in your post you use the term "enjoy life". It doesn't sound as though you really want to get to grips with your situation but want to push it to one side, borrow more money and just carry on as before.
Consolidation loans are not the answer and it doesn't seem as though you will get one anyway. My advice is to get over to the Debt Free Wanabe board for some advice on how to handle the money you do have coming in. Some helpful people there may be able to advise how to make your money go further.0 -
Agree with much of the post above.
Why didn't you pay the PDLs back on pay day?0 -
I'm not going to judge you, I know how it happens and Im in the same place , Ive noticed a few people are also in the same place on here. You pay it back with that little extra on top, and then find that leaves you short again. Its a bad thing to start on, but it happens. The only advice I can offer is to try and arrange a repayment schedule with the companies. Tell them the truth, and that you are willing to pay them back everything you owe but you require them to spread the cost. They will charge you more interest most likely, but I would assumt that would be better than having to pay a huge chunk of every month. At least you will still have SOME money coming in, which I would suggest you go through a serious buget plan with. Good luck0

A loan is not the answer, I am suprised you still havnt twigged that yet!!!
In your situation literally cut every expense to the bone and get yourself out of all debt. Its a good time to do it now as babies dont cost loads to feed, clothe and entertain. (wait until they hit 12 LOL)
Literally live like a pauper for as long as it takes to clear the loans (hopefully under 12 months).0 -
hey m8 its your spending that needs to change because unless you fix that you will be locked into a debt spiral..stop spending more than you earn.It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
