Sainsbury's christmas deliveries -23rd Dec slot open!

Thursday 23rd December delivery slot is now open and last night I booked 9-10am. Many slots are still available this morning (although I suppose this is area speciifc).
I found last year sainsbury's were really good, on time and no substitutions. Also if you spend over £100 on Tues, Wed and Thurs you get free delivery, otherwise it is £4.50 on Thursday.

Thanks OP, got my slot in and ordered then looked again and all Thur 23rd delivery slots gone for my area!!! Would have missed these myself if not for OP and MSE!!!!!

I'm mad. I had a slot for the 22nd, saw there were a few for the 23rd so when to amend, when i did they had all gone, including my 22nd slot!

So have to stay up late to try and get a slot for the 24th tonight. Not going to happen as i'm full of cold.
So be warned anyone thinking of doing the same.

no slots left for me either but plenty for the 23rd with asda so booked mine with them instead

I got up at 5.30 this morning to find all slots were gone so anyone getting one is really lucky. Midnight tonight for a Friday slot then. Grrrr.

I stayed up until after midnight last night to try and book the 23rd but when that delivery date appeared all of the slots were booked

I wonder if staff get first pick then. I can't understand how every slot was full by 5.30 am (or midnight for others) otherwise. I don't want to tackle the store with my three boys throwing wobblies.

Do the slots get released at midnight then? there was no Tesco for 24th yesterday and today there is and all gone.
I want Sainsburys in Bath for 23rd as we will be on hol down there. But not released yet. Can anyone say at what time of day I should look or is it just a continuous nail biting exercise!

Sorry, but 22nd is the last day for online grocery orders at Sainsburys, the next slots bookable will be 27th, it may be worth looking to see if any become available as people may cancel in the meantime.

Some of the Tesco slots are not opened for 23 Dec do they tend to add a few more as they sort theemselve out?
