Hi. I'm no expert here but I did borrow a mulcher which was supposed to be really good but didn't really suit me. When looking for one, be realistic about what size of waste you're trying to mulch. It's tempting to get the machine which can handle the greatest diameter but this may be a mistake. I found that the machine was fab for huge great rose stems but rubbish on the thinner stuff - in hindsight I would have tried to get something which was better on the thinner stuff because most of my waste was thin!

I got an electric one from the argos online clearance bit last week, its was £39.99 may be worth a try, they are only available in store so you may have to hunt for one
