    Clue:First capital of Berkshire (10 letters)

    I think the answer = Maidenhead

    (Maiden as in maiden voyage/maiden speech and capital derives from latin capitalis = head ; Thames Riviera Hotel is in Maidenhead)

    Closing date for each daily competition is midnight on the day. We will pick and inform the winner as soon as possible after each daily competition. Prizes need to be taken by 20 July 2012 and are subject to availability.

    Each prize is a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast break at the specified Bespoke Hotel, for 2 people sharing a twin or double room, except for the "Mount Hartman" and “Jakes” prizes, which are a 7 night stay for 2 people sharing a twin or double room on a room only basis (excluding flights, taxes, insurances and transfers). International prizes must be taken before 23 December 2012 and are subject to availability.

    Prize winners’ details may be used in future publicity. Prize winners may be asked to be photographed at some point during their stay and the photograph used for publicity purposes.

    Only one competition entry per household per day will qualify. Only fully completed entry forms with the correct daily answer are eligible. Bulk entries or entries sent through trade, consumer groups, agents or third parties will not be accepted.

    Participation in the prize draw and acceptance of any prize constitutes winners' permission to use their name, address town/city, likeness, biographical information and any statements made by winners regarding the prize draw by Bespoke Hotels for promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

    The winner is responsible for their own transport arrangements, travel insurance.

    By submitting your entry you agree to receive at least one promotional email from Bespoke Hotels, after which you can unsubscribe at any time.

    Clue: The answer’s in the handover is it not? (7 letters)

    I think the answer = Andover

    (Esseborne Manor Hotel's address is Andover, although the hotel is outside the town)

    Thursday 8th December - Win dinner, bed and breakfast at the wonderful old coaching inn, The Lambert Arms in Oxfordshire, by solving the following riddle: (The answer to each clue is the name of a town or city where you will find at least one of our 50+ Bespoke Hotels)

    Clue: A detective with dodgy hearing might follow you here (5 letters)

    I think the answer = Leeds

    (Detectives follow leads, the other possible places with 5 letters are Tenby and Thame)

    ETA The facebook clue is "The Hotel in today's place has a particularly jazzy name" and the hotel in Leeds is The New Ellington (Duke Ellington = Jazz musician)
