IPA Salary Increase one month

Over christmas my salaray is likely to be higher by about £200 due to having to work extra shifts and bank holidays. What will happen to my IPA? Becasuse when I inform the OR after my payday if they review it and increase my IPA the following month my pay wil be back to normal?

Do they just ask for the extra as a one off payment?

Thanks

Yes, they can just do a one off payment. Pay your normal amount and save the excess. Inform the OR of the extra and they will tell you what needs to be done.

  • Mention the payment to the OR, but they probably wont be interested. I informed them of my annual pay increase of £20 a month, but they didnt want to know due to the general increase in the cost of living.

The OR said that they were only interested in permanent significant salary increases such as promotions, or regular commission increases.

Depends how much exactly your wage increase comes to, and for how many months before it is classed as a regular increase.
