first organic order..

well today i placed my first organic fruit and veg order with riverford which is arriving on saturday, i ordered a small veg box and a fruit box as the mixed box they didn't seem to have enough variety of fruit in it as my DS loves fruit i thought i'd order them seperatly.

does anyone know if they ring you before they deliver it as it just says they'll deliver saturday but have not specified a time??

They don't specify a time.You can phone/email them instructions, eg leave in garage etc. i have been having Riverford for nearly a year now and the stuff is very good and lots of variety. Their milk and yogurt is good too.

Lyndsey-21 I was just about to start a similar thread. I have ordered my first organic box tonight too. Seems quite expensive and I wanted folks opinions on the value of the boxes. Not sure if I like the idea that the veg box doesn't state what it will have in it. Might be embarassing if I have to call and ask them what something is :-). I ordered the fruit separately as I know we will eat the things I have ordered.

Hiya mit - who is your box from? Most of them have online websites where they tell you what is coming that week (ish lol) and also give recipe ideas online and also via a leaflet delivered with the fruit and veg.
