  • First post...and just had my first DTD with this....so Thankyou to OP.
Not gone quite so smoothly but here goes...

Bought the meal deal along with 6 bottles of wine in 3 for £12, 11 mega lollys, 11 wine gummies and some twiglets and cheeselets.
CS didnt have a clue how to rectify this and gave me £22.14 back but then recharged me £10.00 for the meal deal (so refund of £12.14) quoted DTD but they just looked at me daft..been waiting half an hour at this point and had to pick kids up.

Quick call to Tesco CS..he agreed should be DTD and is going to send me £15.00 back.

So thats £73.23 worth of shopping for the grand total of £11.26!!! I am one happy lady.

Oh and the wine with the meal deal had 25% taken off too and i used the £1.00 coupon for ready meals but SA couldnt scan the other.

Hmmm just thinking. I really don't want 6 meal deals (nowhere to store them!) but how would this work - 5 "normal" bottles of wine, 1 meal deal INC a 6th bottle of wine - does anyone know if I would get a) the 25% discount off wine and b) a further £2 discount by using the coupons (for ready meals and puddings) that are in the price drop book? TIA.

I only bought the one meal deal but the 25% off the wine kicked in because I had bought more than six other wines.
The only coupon that worked was the £1 off chilled meals.:)

It looks like it is the risotto that is causing the glitch.:)

Yes, it should - I just bought one meal deal (got DTD on it too - see above!) and 5 bottles of champagne and the wine discount kicked in for the lot. I also used the £1 coupon off the chilled meal from the price drop booklet but the pudding one wouldn't scan (I think others are having same problem). I'm well happy :j

It's the huge lolly's made by swizzle. Priced up at 30p each or 11 for £1..saving £2.30...there on the sweetie aisle. :)

Thanks :) Will give it a try tomorrow, £1 off is better than nothing, especially if I'm getting the vino discount too
